Japan’s central bank has warned of increased risk of corporate defaults should the conflict in the Middle East continue.

In its Financial System Report, the Bank of Japan says that, while the country has been stable as a whole, rising energy prices could increase commodity costs and hit supply chains, increasing corporate default risk.
