The Government of Latvia has decided to transfer generators to Ukraine with a total value of 1.2 million euros. This was announced by Latvia’s Foreign Minister Baiba Braže on X.

The donated asset is intended for the Chernihiv region to support the stability of electricity supply to civilian facilities that were damaged during missile strikes.
It is also known that the German Embassy in Ukraine and the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance delivered a batch of generators to Vinnytsia worth more than €685,000.
This assistance underscores Europe’s efforts to support Ukraine’s energy security and the restoration of critical infrastructure amid ongoing aggression. Such steps demonstrate strengthened cooperation between the EU and Ukraine to ensure reliable electricity supply and the stability of citizens in affected regions.
