The GDP of Portugal grew 11.6% in Q1 of 2022, the highest rate in the EU, according to new figures from Eurostat.
The same figures for the eurozone and European Union grew 5.4% and 5.6% in the same period, respectively, despite the economic toll of the war in Ukraine.
When I visited Portugal, I must say. The infrastructure, all the roads and everything. Was absolutely fantastic. I don’t think I saw a single pothole in the roads.
