I guess you have checked the “invoice” option.
It shouldnt be something necessary to buy a book.
PESEL is personal identification number, nip is tax identification.
Any of those shouldnt be necessary on ‘normal’ internet shopping.
There for it is possible that you started to fill out brackets regarding buying things as a company to get an invoice that you can get tax deduction from.
It’s like a social security number. If there is no option to bypass it try your passport number. It might not even be checking it tho, so maybe try any random number first. Unless you’re requesting an official invoice it shouldn’t be needed
It’s super suspicious that you’re asked for this in a book store. This site might be part of a phising or data theft attack. I would recommend a different store. In Poland, [lubimyczytac.pl](https://lubimyczytac.pl/) is a good place to compare prices of a book.
