Bid comes after government urges MBK to drop purchase on security concerns

TOKYO — Nippon Sangyo Suishin Kiko (NSSK), a Japanese investment company, plans to make a takeover proposal to Japanese machine tool maker Makino Milling Machine, sources told Nikkei on Thursday.
