  1. Expect more like this pair of [questionable NHS appointments](https://www.civilserviceworld.com/news/article/naked-conservative-cronyism-claim-as-two-tory-donors-appointed-to-public-health-roles) from earlier this year:

Oluwole Kolade, [new Deputy Chair of NHS England](https://publicappointments.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/appointment/nhs-england-and-nhs-improvement-ned-appointments/):
    • Tory donor of around £730,000 over the last seven years.
    • manages private equity firm which made an “[investment in the healthcare and education sector](https://archive.ph/9wzru) in almost every single year for the past two decades”.

Simon Blagden, [appointed](https://www.gov.uk/government/news/ukhsa-appoints-non-executive-members-to-its-board) to the UK Health Security Agency advisory board on 28 April:
    • with companies he’s associated with, donated over £370,000 to the Tories.
    • chair of a telecoms advisory council at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
    • also chair of Fujitsu UK, which [sued the Department of Health](https://www.vice.com/en/article/59x7wz/fujitsu-uk-sues-department-health-simon-blagden-tory-donor) for £700m compensation when their £2.7bn IT contract went south.
