The impression one gets from Thursday’s High Court of Justice hearing is that a non-political commission of inquiry that would probe the disastrous failure that led to the October 7 massacre is a matter of choice or a derivative of a political stance that’s up for a vote. Just like the status of the settlements, the legality of smoking cannabis, or an issue with opinions representing either side.
