The level of proof that was brought to court was actually ridiculous and unrealistic for the average person.
The narrative around this being bad for women is ridiculous, obviously there are so many cases of genuine abuse out there, and many are afraid to report it, but there will always be complete liars out there, both men and women.

It’s interesting that certain sections of the media are pushing this narrative that the ‘Depp trial’ is bad for women’s justice instead of maybe it was Heard herself that’s bad for women’s justice.
She went around telling people she was abused when there was just as much evidence that she herself is an abuser too.
I don’t understand why supporters on both sides are desperate to paint them as innocent little victims when realistically they’re both just complete wankers, they deserve each other, frankly.
Will people now stop assuming that men are guilty until proven innocent?
Being abused and being one half of an extremely toxic relationship are two different things.
Not bothered about all this shite, but thought it was noteworthy that one of the most right on members of the sisterhood’s logic on twitter was that if men can be victims too this somehow further makes the patriarchy worse because women might not always be the victim.
Hopefully all the women who make false accusations against men, because it gets them what they want, will. There are rarely any consequences for women who lie and use emotional manipulation to destroy men’s reputations. The #Ibelieveher nonsense needs to be called out for what it is. Bullshit. We have laws to deal with abuse. Crazy misandrist ‘journalists’ are getting really old.
