The headline is horribly misleading – the article states that two fifths of households *who use BNPL* are borrowing in order to repay it, not that two fifths of households in general are borrowing in order to repay BNPL loans.
It’s still not great news but I imagine that the kind of person who uses BNPL a lot is already not in great financial shape.
Well then these people are stupid and deserve the crippling debt they are getting themselves into.
