Police and other emergency services were called to the scene.
A person has been seriously injured in a crash that’s closed a highway north of Rotorua.
“A serious two-vehicle crash has closed State Highway 36 at the intersection of Leonard Rd this morning,” a police spokesman said.
“The crash was reported about 5.30am, and one person was taken to hospital
with serious injuries.”
