MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) – Comments made by Democratic candidate for governor Sara Rodriguez dominated the week in Wisconsin politics.
During an event in Racine County, the current lieutenant governor said she would have a state budget done before she is sworn into office.
“We are going to do our negotiations behind a curtain so that we are not doing a circular firing squad within the Democratic Party,” Rodriguez said.
Matt Smith, co-host of Upfront and political director for partner station WISN, discusses the comments in this week’s Upfront Fridays.
