Southington defeats Berlin at Dunkin Park on venue’s 10th anniversary

HARTFORD, CT. (WFSB) – The Southington Blue Knights defeated the Berlin Red Coats 5-2 at Dunkin Park as the venue marked its 10th anniversary.

Southington entered the game at 6-1 and built on its lead in the fourth inning when Mason Laforte hit a ball to right field, making it 3-1.

The Blue Knights demonstrated their strong pitching and solid defense on their way to victory.

They improved to 7-1 on the season. Berlin fell to 5-4.
