No, seriously..if anyone knows where in canton Vaud or Romandie in general one can buy quality potatoes at a price not higher than 2chf/kg?

I have a large family and we usually buy 40 or 60 kgs and it lasts us for some time.
We used to live in Bern and we had our network of farmers who we grocery shopped at. We knew how they grow it and where. Since we’ve moved – it is literally impossible to find good potatoes and a good price. 3,90chf/kg is the cheapest we’ve found at a neighboring farm.

We’ve long divorced from Migros, Coop and their friends, so please don’t suggest that.

Thank you in advance.

EDIT:

Here is the address of the farmer who I used buy from before. His name is Ueli.

  1. >quality potatoes at a price not higher than 2chf/kg

This is a contradiction. Do you want to buy cheap potatoes, or quality? You could grow quality potatoes yourself, but the equipment purchase would require a few years of harvest to save a franc. After that though, quality potatoes at your price.

  2. You consume how much!!!??? There’s some definite moonshine manufacturin goin on here 😂😂😂

(Seriously – you selling any, or what!?)

  3. no space to grow yourself? I got two cement mixing boxes on the balcony and they’re growing just fine, in fact, better than down in the garden 🙂

  4. Chez Esther Zimmermann in Cuarnens (self all week, open for bread, apple juice and lots other nice things on Saturday morning). They also sell in Landi Cossonay.

  5. Gonna have to save this post to show my fellow Canadians how much different distance is in Europe! It’s less than an hour and half drive to Bern. That’s a commute in North America 😆 not saying it’s a good thing we drive so far so casually, but wow.

  6. So you want quality but as cheap as possible, not willing to pay 1chf more but willing to drive a longer distance for them?
