Finlanad based Solarigo Oy, is part of the Suur-Savon Sähkö Group, has acquired a 70% stake in Callio-Hitura Solarpark Oy from Skarta Energy Group.  Solarigo previously owned 30% of the project company. Following the transaction, Callio-Hitura Solarpark became a wholly owned subsidiary of Solarigo. The company develops solar projects on former mining sites in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. Its Callio solar park in Pyhäjärvi is Finland’s first utility-scale solar park on a decommissioned mine site. A 4 MW battery energy storage system is under construction at the Callio project. Another solar and storage project is under development at the former Hitura mine in Nivala.
