No confidence vote in Boris Johnson expected to be announced on Monday morning

  1. Surely we need to do remove the Conservatives at this point. As they are not fit to serve.
When have ever seen a Government in charge for 10 plus years and have changed their leadership 3 times?

  2. Remember, if Tories vote that they have confidence in Boris it is very open support of every corrupt and immoral feed. If you are a Tory voter and angry with Boris then you need to recognise they party doesn’t respect you if they vote to protect him.

  3. * Get a new face in
    * Claim a clean slate
    * Call GE
    * Watch Labour shoot their own feet. Again.
    * Romp home

This assume, of course, they don’t really do Nd *Big Dog* and keep the hero *Wot got Brexit done* in power.

  4. He’ll win easily, further legitimising his grip on power and emboldening him to dump even more shit on us with no fear of recourse.

Watch closely people, this is how dictatorships begin. Not with guns and jackboots, with charismatic assholes who keep winning votes despite everything.

  5. **SECOND EDIT: spoke way too soon.**

I wouldn’t be surprised if they waited until after the Wakefield by-election to axe Boris. If they swing the axe and he survives, they won’t be able to make another vote until ~~six~~ **EDIT: twelve** months later.

That being said I wonder who would succeed Boris if the vote went through? I’m gonna say Liz Truss or Jeremy Hunt.

  6. Johnson is doing a fine job…of dragging the tory party back to Hell, where it came from.

Leave him at the helm for a while longer and we may not have to endure this sick, nasty, incompetent and downright evil political band of criminals for a generation, or maybe longer.

  7. How’s how much the Maps care about the population, only when he gets booed do they decide to act not any of the many other issues that have come up during his tenure

  8. The wise move would be to call a General election. The situation will only worsen for him economically over the next 12 months.

  9. We’re not going to fall for this again are we? The tories love to change their leader before an election so no one’s had a chance to see how bad they are

  10. Just confirmed. Vote is TONIGHT

I’d love to be optimistic but I reckon he will survive a vote.

I also am on the fence about him being the leader at the next election in the hope it would seriously damage the Tory chances.

Very torn because I want him gone so bad right now too.

  11. I’m waiting.

I’ve been waiting since December when we were told it was just days away.

It’s almost as if Tories love everything bojo has achieved, from the spiraling debt to the tax rises for working people to the inflation and nhs collapse. And they are just pretending to be very upset, and totally definitely about to do something…

  12. If I’ve learned one thing about the modem tory party it’s that there’s always a bigger cunt waiting to take charge, we need to remove them all not just the mouthpiece, utter twats

  13. This is not a good result for Labour. You WANT Boris to cling on because he will keep the Tory vote at the floor.

  14. I’m really torn. As much as I want him gone, I also want to see the Tories lose the next GE and the best way for that to happen is for Bozo to still be PM then.

  15. I hated Cameron when he got in, and then we got May. She was utter trash and promised one thing to a group of people whilst promising the opposite to another group of people. Couldn’t stand her. Then we got Boris.

Boy does Cameron look like the best PM we’ve had in an age.

  16. If you have a Tory MP, write to them today

Tories MPs fretting about their inboxes have constantly been quoted in the media, write to them!

  17. I think for the greater good… We need him to win. Allowing the Tories to change just gives them a fresh start and an excuse for people to vote Tory again.

  18. He’s gonna win. The most likely outcome is he survives but this is the firing shot for a challenger to come forward which will lead to him eventually having to stand aside (hopefully).

  19. A lady on one of the trashy new “News” channels (I think it was TalkTV because I’m fairly sure it was Jeremy Kyle) said she wasn’t happy about Boris Johnson’s lies and the whole PartyGate scandal, but if she voted tomorrow she would still vote for him because “all politicians are liars and therefore we have to choose the best liar, and rather the devil you know”.

Winning a confidence vote or not, we’re still fucked at the next GE if people like her are still walking around. Which she might not be, due to lack of NHS funding we might have to take one of her feet and sell it.

  20. I’ve just emailed my MP Marcus Fysh. Told him it’s his moral obligation to vote no confidence.

But he’s a populist cunt so will 100% vote for Bojo.

  21. Am i the only one that hopes he stays?

    Bear with me…….

Until now the nepotism, corruption, ineptitude and criminality has been kept out of the Conservative voters eyes. Boris has brought this all out into broad daylight. Changing laws, attacking courts and repeatedly lying. Showing just how utterly unfit for office his entire cabinet is.

The longer this goes on the more damage he does then MAYBE the public will have the stomach to change this old boys club that just swapped lords for millionaires and pesants for the public.

  22. Calling it now.

    – VONC and Boris leaves the limelight and become a director of multiple corporations and makes bank by working 5 days a year.
    – Liz Truss becomes PM and calls a GE
    – Liz Truss loses and ends up a lonely old hag on the backbenches
    – Labour win
    – Recession starts
    – One or more major banks collapse due to a commercial mortgage scandal that dwarfs 2008
    – People see their pensions, investments and savings disappear overnight
    – Interest rates have to rise
    – Recession turns into stagflation
    – Housing markets collapse
    – People lose their homes
    – World depression
    – Labour get blamed for everything by the Tories
    – Labour raise taxes and spend their way out of recession by investing in infrastructure projects, renationalizing the railways and the NHS
    – 5 years later…
    – World starts to come out of recession
    – As opposition, Tories slam Labour for out of control spending
    – Rupert Murdoch hand selects the next Tory PM and invites them to his yacht in the med (the last one before he dies)
    – UK votes Tory at the next election.

  23. You guys probably don’t care, but I’m Brazilian and I recently visited the UK. While in the hotel at night the show “Gogglebox” came on the TV and I enjoyed it so much that when I got back home I started watching all of the older series.

Anyway, as I was watching the episodes filmed during the lockdown, it really struck me how in hindsight the things that Boris said about how people should behave and the sacrifices they need to make just sound terrible.

I mean it’s as if he literally got up there every couple of days and described all the prohibited things and lockdown rules he was breaking. He might as well have said “You should only visit the store for necessities, and refrain from 6:30 cocktails tonight at 10 Downing Street, RSVP with my secretary.”

  24. Makes me sick looking at his fucking incompetent, sly fucking face.

The untrustworthy politician, in it for himself with no fucking backbone to change anything worth a damn.

I’m beyond pissed off that this is what those who are alive have to deal with until dead just to have it recycled onto the next generation.

All we have in this tiny spec of a life is worsened by these people who seek power who don’t deserve it and the idiots who think think each time will be different in the hands of another “party”

  25. How on earth he has got more confidence is beyond me. The tories will loose these by elections. Very disappointed in our corrupt government.
