Jakob Norrgård from KAJ, who represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, will be spokesperson for Sweden in the upcoming contest.
Following a post from the Melodifestivalen Instagram account, SVT has revealed that Jakob Norrgård, member of KAJ, will announce the points of the Swedish jury during the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Jakob declared:
It feels both honorable and a little surreal to be the one giving the Swedish “Douze Points”. It’s truly a dream come true so I will do my best and maximize every second of this moment.
KAJ represented Sweden at Eurovision 2025 with “Bara Bada Bastu”, finishing 4th with 321 points in the Grand Final. Sweden came 6th in the jury vote, receiving 12 points from Iceland, and 3rd in the televoting, with 12 points from Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Norway.
Sweden is the 3rd country to announce its spokesperson, following Klavdia for Greece and Sandra Kim for Belgium.

Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has gone on to be one of the contest’s most successful countries. The country has won the contest 7 times, tying with Ireland, the most recent being in 2023. Abba´s win in Brighton 1974 with the song “Waterloo” marked Sweden’s first victory. Since missing out on the final in 2010, the country has gone on to finish 3rd twice and has won the contest three times. Only in 2013 and 2021 did the country place outside of the top 10 in the final.
