    > **In what circumstances a driving license shall be withdrawn in Poland**

    > Traffic regulations specify the situations in which a driver may have his driving license withdrawn or confiscated. A police officer has the right to withdraw a driving license during a control, inter alia, when the speed limit within a built-up area was exceeded by a minimum of 51 km/h or when the driver causes an accident, collision or a traffic hazard.

    > The driving license may also be withdrawn if there is a justified suspicion that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances, the driving license is damaged to such an extent that it is impossible to read it, there is a probability that the driving license has been forged or altered, or the expiry date of the document has passed.

    > According to the road traffic regulations, the document may also be withdrawn if the driver has had his/her driving license withdrawn, a driving license is withdrawn or a driving ban is imposed by a court, the driver has exceeded 24 penalty points within a year or 20 penalty points within the first year of being granted a driving license, it has been ordered to drive a vehicle equipped with an alcohol interlock device and the driver does not have a certificate or drives a vehicle not equipped with such an interlock device, or the vehicle is driven by more persons than indicated in the registration card (more than 2 excess persons in a passenger car and more than 5 in a bus).

  2. Glad he was actually punished. Drivers sometimes get away with a lot of shit, even if they arent important public figures.
