The Second Lady opted for an elegant blue dress as she joined her husband, Vice President JD Vance, to welcome the British royals. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted King Charles and Queen Camilla on April 27, ahead of the royal couple’s planned visits to New York City and Virginia.
The occasion marks Charles’s first visit to the United States as a reigning monarch, and the first state visit by a British sovereign since the late Queen Elizabeth was received by President George Bush in May 2007.
The visit also coincides with the United States celebrating its 250th anniversary of independence. On Tuesday, King Charles made history by addressing Congress, while Queen Camilla joined First Lady Melania Trump at an education-focused event.

The 40 year old is anticipating the arrival of her fourth child, with a due date set for late July. She and JD Vance are already parents to three children: Ewan, 8, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4.
