Tax break for small, medium-sized businesses to cope with U.S. trade war

Quebec will provide a tax break to 75,000 small and medium-sized businesses as they continue to face inflation and weather the trade dispute with the United States. The province is following Ontario, which announced a similar measure earlier this month. But opposition parties say the move comes too late and does not make up for what they describe as the CAQ government’s poor track record on supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
