Good to see a jail term. Hopefully it will discourage it. Pity it was so short but suppose they can’t go too far outside the usual or it will get thrown out.

Nine months seems like quite a bit for something like this. Three months tops seems more appropriate. If someone created revenge porn of me, I wouldn’t even want to report them if I thought they’d get nine months in jail.

I’d love to see a case in Ireland where the person doesn’t claim to be depressed, or an alcoholic, drug abuser etc.
Going to a therapist after you get a summons and claiming you’re depressed shouldn’t be grounds for leniency or a reduced sentence. That needs to be changed. No physician in Ireland will tell someone they are not depressed if they say they are. Ridiculous that this can be presented as evidence in a court.

What a sack of shit, firstly posting the pics but then making sure everyone knew who she was and where they could find her is some seriously scummy behavior and in no way can be excused by depression.
