Ukraine is probably the only issue that the whole country actually mostly agree on (except the obligatory lunatics and grifters).
There is no way we’d stop supplying Ukraine arms if the PM changed. It would take a full GE and someone like Corbyn getting in for that to happen.
It can give an odd feeling when another country’s [even well liked] leader pokes their nose into UK affairs.
I sometimes wonder how many people voted brexit purely because Obama said not to.

The guy is fighting for his countries survival and couldn’t care less about UK politics. He’s not out to piss off someone sending him weapons.
Of course he’s happy. Putin thought Johnson was bought and paid for, and little likely pisses him off as much as watching Zelenskiy parade their friendship. Only thing that could wind him up as much would be to lose Trump’s love.
