The Irish senate is on fire this year, and not in a literal sense
While I understand the idea behind the plea, I am unsure if the EU should reach out to a country „so far“ away. Also the conflicts and state structures in these ex-soviet states are a thing for itself. I dont know if the EU should meddle in that if its not even possible to hold existing members adequatly accountable for questionable actions for example dissolving the seperation of power in existing governmental structures.
Based, i for one welcome Georgia in the EU
I hope that Georgian in near future returns to a more democratic path.
