According to regional media reports, all rental properties — including apartments, houses and rooms — will be required to display an official registration number. Without it, listings will not be permitted on major platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Authorities say the move is aimed at reducing illegal rentals, improving safety standards and increasing transparency, although it could also limit the number of available properties.
Increased Inspections
Enforcement is set to intensify, with inspections carried out by tourism authorities, municipal services and customs officials to ensure compliance. Visitors are being advised to verify the registration status of accommodation before making bookings.

In addition to accommodation reforms, new measures will regulate alcohol consumption, energy drinks and behaviour in designated entertainment zones. The goal is to curb excessive partying and promote a safer, higher-quality tourism experience.
