BREWSTER COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) – The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after he was caught transporting eight illegal immigrants on Saturday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office says Kenneth Earl Williamson, of Texarkana, was pulled over south of Marathon. Deputies discovered seven men and one woman from Mexico and Venezuela who were in the United States illegally.

Officials say Williamson was taken into custody for the eight felony counts of smuggling of persons.
The eight immigrants were referred to US Border Patrol Agents for processing and removal.
