Don’t fuck with money, it’ll get you more time than some killers or rapists.
> Sky customers paid a subscription of £47.50 – but the Sky Ultimate service for businesses was based on the pub’s rateable value.
Fuck their practice. I hate the fact it’s based on “rateable value”. It should just be a flat fee. It costs the PL and Sky nothing extra to stream to pub over a house. Why should a venue have to pay more especially when some places are struggling to get people in the door just so Sky and PL can stripe more money from honest punters.
On top of that I can’t even watch a 3pm game because of some antiquated law but other countries can which is where services that these men supplied is amazing!!!
It’s all a big con and joke with us end-user paying the price.
“During a period covered by the fraud domestic Sky customers paid a subscription of £47.50 – but the Sky Ultimate service for businesses was based on the pub’s rateable value.
And for Dreambox’s pub and hotel clients, that would have been an average of £800 a month if they had not been receiving the broadcasts illicitly.”

No wonder they’re turning to piracy.

hahahahaha the FACT website has a narc form to report people who you think might be engaged in piracy. Hahahahahahahaha
Guys who touch kids get less time than this ffs
Shame, these lads were providing a public service.
As usual it’s stupidly assumed the pirates cost the biggest companies money. No they don’t. If anything they earn them money indirectly by keeping people who can’t afford products engaged in their product and if they ever can afford it then they will be primed and ready to pay thanks to the engagement.
