Eugenie uploaded a series of stories on her account, showing herself with her husband, Jack, on his own, as well as him playing with their two children by the beach, August and Ernest. The photos uploaded by Eugenie were accompanied by the message: “Happy 40th, my love…
“Here’s to another 16…xx”
It was the first time Eugenie posted any sort of message on her social media accounts following her father’s humiliating fall from grace in recent months.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on his birthday, February 19, on suspicion of misconduct while serving as the UK trade envoy.
The arrest came after new details emerged about the former prince’s association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein from the latest batch of documents released by the US Department of Justice earlier this year.
Andrew spent 11 hours in custody before being released under investigation. He has always denied any wrongdoing.
His daughters, Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, have kept a low profile throughout the ordeal.
Eugenie was pictured last week at hotel tycoon Sir Rocco Forte’s son Charles and Georgie Wright in Sicily, Italy.
The princess was seen wearing black and chatting with other guests at the venue.
Earlier in February, Eugenie spent some time in Qatar, attending the Art Basel 2026 in Doha, Qatar, in her role as director at Hauser and Wirth.
