You just have to laugh at this stage..in a couple of years then they’ll be wondering why there are people on trollies for 12 hours in the A&E in those other hospitals..
Probably for the best. Was on the cards for a long time.
The hospital actually works really well for elective ortho and elective minor gen surg and scopes.
It’s well set up for a good AMAU, unfortunately there will be lots of jobs lost.
The vast majority of people that go to Navan Hospital now wait for hours and hours and then get transferred to Dublin or Drogheda anyway.
