CP24 meteorologist Bill Coulter provides an update on weather conditions in Toronto and parts of the GTA.

Toronto will see a glimpse of summer-like weather on Monday but below-seasonal temperatures will dominate much of Toronto’s forecast this week.

Environment Canada is calling for some sunshine and a high of 22 C on Monday.

“I find everyone’s mood changes (in nice weather),” CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter said on Monday morning.

“The patios start filling up. It really makes this city come alive so try to take advantage and join the fun.”

The temperature will drop down to a seasonal high of 15 C on Tuesday, with some showers expected.

More showers are in the forecast on Wednesday, along with a high of just 12 C, about five degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.

Sunshine returns Thursday but the mercury is only expected to rise to 10 C that day. Friday will remain cool, with some showers possible and a high of just 12 C.

The national weather agency is calling for a high of 13 C on Saturday and 15 C on Sunday.
