Kristi Noem broke her silence on Monday, posting to Instagram for the first time since her husband’s alleged “bimbofication” fetish was exposed, plunging the family into yet another scandal.
The post features two photos of Noem and her daughter at their home in North Dakota, wearing matching red checkered dresses.
“Miss Addie and I finally got to wear our matching dresses to church today,” Noem captioned the post, attaching a red heart emoji.
The first picture features Noem crouching down to hug her standing daughter in front of a piano. A carry-on-sized suitcase with a backpack stands near a glass door in the background.

A white sideboard with plates, family photos and some plants stands just next to it, mixing modern style with the homestead look Noem appeared to be going for in her home.
The second photo features Noem standing, her hand on her daughter’s shoulder as both grin widely. She wears deep-red cowboy boots, while her daughter wears a basic pair of white sneakers.
Addie’s dress contains a lacey ruffle around the collar, while Noem’s is plain. The dresses are old-fashioned, with a homestead style, and look as though they popped out of an early 20th-century painting, like the famous American Gothic, a 1930 oil painting by Grant Wood from Iowa.
