Leaders agreed to design a joint government format by late June, leaving diplomats to decide whether ministers will meet in Kyiv or Bratislava.
Ukraine and Slovakia have agreed to work on a joint government meeting, which could take place either in Kyiv or Bratislava.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said during a talk with journalists whom he met with Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico and agreed to prepare a joint format for how the two governments will work together by the end of June.
According to the head of state, diplomatic representatives will determine the venue of the meeting – Bratislava or Kyiv – and all ministers will participate in the session.

The head of state also emphasized the significance of the visit to Armenia, noting that Ukraine is showing activity in the region and unlocking avenues of cooperation for the first time in 24 years.
He also noted the first such contacts with the Georgian side in a long time and said that he had recently spoken with the Prime Minister of Georgia, which he regards as the right step.
On the sidelines of the two-day Summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, Zelensky held meetings with the prime ministers of Slovakia, Canada, Poland, Armenia and Georgia, as well as with the leaders of the European Council, the European Commission and the NATO Secretary General. Canada’s participation in the forum was also noted.
Expected results and prospects for cooperation
The expected result of the meeting is joint initiatives and an expansion of interstate cooperation, with a focus on concrete projects in the economy and security.
