He was let die, since his acolytes tried in every way to extend his life in panic for what was going to happen after (obviously).

There are theories that say that he died before but officially it was said on November 20 to coincide with the death of Primo de Rivera, and to make that day important for Spanish fascism.
The worst 40-something years in Spanish History. It’ll take generations for this wound to heal, if ever.
