Greetings from Portland, Oregon, USA! This is my attempt at stoemp and sausage. Can’t wait to visit Belgium again! It’s been too long.

  2. Try making stoemp with the sausage IN the stoemp and add some more pork meat like ribs or pieces from the belly or ham.The taste of the meat will give it extra flavor and the meat will be very soft with flavor of the stoemp.
    This is done in west and east flanders for centuries.

  3. That stoemp kind of looks like the Dutch version where they just throw in anything really. In Belgium it’s usually just mashed potatoes.

    Edit: looks like I’m wrong, I’ve never had stoemp like that though.
