A government plan to end state-supported accommodation for Ukrainians amounts to giving in to anti-migrant rhetoric, according to NEWKD Programme Manager Robert Carey.
Latest Central Statistics Office data shows that approximately 6,600 Ukrainians are registered as living in the county, with just over 39 per cent (2,615) accommodated by the state.
