Former Slovenian president falls off bike: I broke my collarbone and shoulder, my helmet saved me

Former President and Prime Minister of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, has been hospitalized after a serious bicycle fall.
Pahor, an avid cyclist, announced on Instagram that he had broken his collarbone and shoulder.
“Yesterday afternoon. Bad fall during a bike ride down Pasja Ravna. Broken collarbone and shoulder. Everything is fine, I left the emergency room in the evening, today I am already in the office for a conversation with the new UN youth delegate… Another important thing. The impact of my head on the asphalt was so violent that I didn’t even feel all the other injuries during the fall. My helmet saved me.”
Pahor thanked everyone who helped him after the accident.
