Sometimes it’s not about what you know, it’s about who you know – which Ireland forwards coach Alan O’Connor learned at the start of 2026.
After retiring from rugby at the end of last season, O’Connor, who made 212 appearances for Ulster, began coaching at a school in Ballymena before he was called to the principal’s office for some good news.
