The prosecution filed an indictment at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court against Yona Shreiber (36) from Peduel for assaulting a Christian nun near King David’s Tomb in Jerusalem. According to the indictment, Shreiber noticed the woman dressed in nun’s attire and subsequently decided to attack her. The indictment states that he ran toward her, pushed her forcefully, caused her to fall and kicked her while she lay on the ground. The indictment reveals that a bystander tried to prevent Shreiber from continuing the assault, but he attacked him as well with punches and kicks. The nun sustained bleeding on her face and bruising on her leg.
