CLEVELAND (WJW) – Giant Eagle has voluntarily recalled some roasted turkey products sold across several states, including Ohio.

The recalled items — produced by Fresh Foods Manufacturing in Freedom, Pennsylvania — may contain pieces of metal, a press release said on Thursday evening.

Starting April 28, the turkey was sold in prepared food departments of Giant Eagle and Market District stores in Ohio, western Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Indiana, the release said.

The recalled products include:

Roasted Turkey Breast Entree, UPC 25689600000, best by date through May 12, 2026

Roasted Turkey Breast with Gravy Entree, UPC 25689700000, best by date through May 12, 2026

Roasted Turkey Meal (B), UPC 25688200000, best by date through May 11, 2026

Turkey Pot Pie, UPC 20696900000, best by date through May 11, 2026

The recall was issued after concerns during routine inspections and, according to company officials, there have been no reports of illnesses or injuries at this time.

Anyone who bought the recalled food items should throw them out right away. They can also bring the receipt to their local store for a refund.
