Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey has reiterated his message that international standards must be developed for stablecoins or they could become a source of financial instability.  

Bailey, who also chairs the Financial Stability Board, repeated his observation that he expects a “coming wrestle” between the US and international regulators over the treatment of stablecoins.
