Totally similar situations, yeh totally.
Absolutely comparable.
Fun fact: East Germany outside Berlin has next to no migrants compared to the rest. Although I dont know if Berlin counts as west or east at all.
There’s a distinct difference to be made tho :
– West and East Berliners were both German people living in two parts of the same city.
– Majority of migrants are middle eastern foreigners who for the most part, don’t integrate well with German society.
This is like equalizing apples to oranges by arguing “they’re both fruit”.
