The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Afghan mixed martial arts fighter Wahedullah Nezhand suffered a
defeat against his Argentine opponent in a crucial bout held in Croatia.
The fight took place in the 77-kilogram weight category as
part of the FNC competition hosted by Croatia.
Nezhad entered the match with a strong record of 10 wins and
two losses, while his opponent, Staropoli, had a record of 13 victories and
seven defeats.
Nezhad, considered one of Afghanistan’s leading MMA fighters
in recent years, has previously secured notable wins in international
competitions and gained attention for his aggressive fighting style.
