Wish I lived in dairy country. We go through a lot of milk in the house and while we get it delivered, I wouldn’t mind popping down to one if these machines a couple of times a week.
Fair play if it makes the farmers more money and gives them more control. An ROI of less than 2 years is quite good. Hopefully it takes off for them.
If this reduces the amount of crying farmers then yes this is good
Same here, I wouldn’t mind paying a bit extra to get plastic free and from a local farmer.
Amazing idea.
YOu could keep a few chooks in there too expands to fresh eggs!
Can people not consult a dictionary before using Gaeilge in their brandnames? There’s no fada in bainne…
Can’t decide if the lad in the picture is having the craic or dying inside.
This would be good if you could per per mL, so you only have to get what you need.
Title gore
I used these a few times, the milk was nice. There was one near me but the problem was it was a bit too far away and there is a shop that sells perfectly good milk , 10-15 mins closer. And there is no reason to go in the direction of the farm. Then the machine got vandalised and out of action for a while. Haven’t even bothered to check if the machine is back in action. Am curious if they raise the price in winter.
It said in the article that farmers who promote these on their social media see a good increase in usage, but it would be great if Nesty published a map of the locations of the machines too.
Is it unpasteurised milk? I’d be interested in that
Its Nestle, so I imagine there is a huge catch for the farmer, like outrageous maintenance costs or something dodgy. It talks about flavours, so I’m guessing they’re like those coffee pods but for farmers.
