It’s a waiting game. In 15 days it will be worthless. They will be begging you to take it.
€22/Kg which is around the norm for that type of ham.
The likes of Bradley’s are more expensive so you picked a shit example.
Where are the eco terrorists on this one?
Burning wood to flavour meat. Double tap.
Ah that’s fancy ham.
Get some corn beef into ya posho
Eugh looks like you could chew it for half an hour too
90g is 90g no matter how you slice it. That’s a normal weight of packaged ham for that price.
Gone are the days where I’d be putting about 5+ slices in a sandwich. I used to love a bit of that turkey with the circle of stuffing. That kind of everyday snack is now a luxury 🎻 I’m getting less fat, though.
When the price of luncheon ham went form 99 cent to 1.10 in tesco .. good bye my comfort food. Also nearly all milk has gone from 75 cent a liter to 95 cent a liter in 2 months or less
Looks good though
The farmer probably got €6 for the entire pig
Ya herself spotted another ham scam, there used to be 6 slices, now there are only 4 for the same price mind you. I’d say this country has gone to shit but it was always shite and rip off.
This is mechanically recovered meat, it’s cooked in a mould, and dyed to look like ham.
From the picture, it looks as though price per kilo isn’t marked on the package. In Greece, it compulsory either on the package or on the shelf and it’s really useful to compare prices. Also vital to compare the “special offers” where sometimes buying a six pack is more expensive per can than buying individually! Some with loads of other items.
A low price for a life
That particular counter in Tesco baffles me, usually near the hot deli with the rotisserie chicken. Has a few slices of wrapped deli meat of different prices but usually double or triple the price of the exact same packaged sandwich meat a few aisles over
