Federal law enforcement officers have rounded up several illegal immigrants in recent weeks in Macomb County.
According to social media compilations posted by the U.S. Border Patrol Detroit Station, agents arrested:
May 3 — An immigrant from Mexico was taken into custody in Utica.
Authorities said the individual has a prior conviction for disorderly conduct.
He is being charged with felony re-entry, alien inadmissibility, and previously removed alien.
April 30 — An illegal immigrant from Honduras was taken into custody somewhere in the county and is being charged with felony re-entry.
He will also be charged with previously removed alien and alien inadmissibility.
April 30 — An illegal immigrant from Venezuela was arrested in Macomb County.
He faces charges of alien present without officially being admitted and deportable alien.
April 29 — An illegal immigrant from Venezuela was taken into custody in Sterling Heights.
The individual was previously arrested for public intoxication.
He faces charges of alien present without officially being admitted and deportable alien
No further information on any of the cases was released.
The Border Patrol said all of the arrested individuals are being processed for deportation.
