MBC Group revenue falls 20% in Q1 as geopolitical situation affects advertising

MBC Group has reported that revenues decreased to SAR 1.6 billion in the first three months of 2026 from SAR 2.0 billion in 1Q 2025, down 20 percent, primarily reflecting the timing of project-based revenues and a more cautious advertising environment amid ongoing regional geopolitical developments. Net profit declined by 15.6 percent year on year to SAR 222.3 million while the net profit margin expanded to 14.1 percent, supported by disciplined cost management and more than a threefold increase in MBC Shah
