2. They overpay because they can. Take away the opportunity from the Portuguese residents that don’t have even half the savings they do and have much l lower income in the process. There is an increasing disdain towards expats because they come looking for comfort here not aware they are fucking over the population. All this wouldn’t be a problem if laws surrounding house building weren’t so retarded to the point no new homes are being built and nobody wants to renovate an old house with an exaggerated price tag, strangling the dwindling acceptable houses on the market.

4. Lisbon government and “Santa casa da misericórdia” bought all the homes.

   These two groups inflated the price of homes for everybody else.

   They are simply evil organisations.
