There was one royal who immediately shunned Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

According to biographer Christopher Andersen, Kate Middleton was the first member of The Firm to distance herself from the former Duke of York after his ties to Jeffrey Epstein came to light.

“She is the first royal to cut him off, to turn her back on him,” the writer told Page Six.

After Andrew allegedly asked to be invited to the Princess of Wales’ annual Christmas concert in 2025, Kate and her team declined the request.

“He asked, through intermediaries, if he could slip in a side door,” Anderson claimed.

“Nope, we don’t want your face on camera,” the journalist alleged they responded.

Anderson noted that the eventual queen of England is “is the wife of a future monarch” and is the “mother of a future monarch” and wanted nothing to do with the scandal.

King Charles III stripped his younger brother of his titles and evicted him from Royal Lodge over his friendship with the late criminal.

Andrew was later arrested on suspicion of “misconduct in public office” for allegedly giving Epstein confidential information while he was the U.K.’s trade envoy.

“There is real concern about what’s been going on behind the scenes,” a source told Closer magazine. “Kate is taking an especially firm stance.”

“Every time they’re still in the frame, even behind the scenes, it prevents the family from fully moving on,” the insider noted.

Upon additional files being released about Andrew’s involvement with the scandal, the mother of three and Prince William issued a statement.

“I can confirm the Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims,” their representative said in a message via People.
