Barely a tenth grader, Anton Kottas is not only looking to the stars,
but also boldly walking his way. In addition to Hollywood
productions, in which he has participated as an actor, he won the
audience award at this year’s BNR Top 20, while days before that he
also released his debut mini album. Part of it is his latest song
“Shte stigna li do raya” (“Will I Get to Heaven”),
created again with guitarist, songwriter and music producer Angel
Dyulgerov. They describe their fourth joint song as a combination of
pop, blues and gospel, inspired by the belief in a new beginning and
the power to preserve the good in ourselves regardless of the
pressure of circumstances.

“We
named it this way because I really liked this symbolism with heaven –
it is in no way religious, rather heaven is a state of mind. A state
of a person in which he or she feels whole, loved, and they love too
– this is heaven. The song itself is like an internal dialogue of a
person who is lost between memory and reality and is trying to find
the right path.”
