  1. I didn’t think we’d ever see anything like this again after Bond in 2012, but I think this surpasses her cameo with 007!

  2. Part Two of this skit involves Priti turning up with Immigration Enforcement to deport Paddington for illegal entry into britain

  3. Every time I see the queen I remember her disabled cousins were locked away, unvisited, claimed to be dead since the 40s until their real deaths in 1986 and…2014.

    Lovely family

  4. That was adorable! I wouldn’t be surprised if the Queen does keep a snack or two in her famous handbags (probably not a marmalade sandwich though).

  5. Settle a debate at home, was some of the queen in that sketch cgi/deepfaked?

I cant work out why but something about the movements, and specially the big smile when she shows the sandwich just seemed off and uncanny valley to me – but could just be seeing things!

  6. I’m almost certain this is just the Queen’s face mapped into a 3D/actor’s model. The way she moves isn’t completely natural. Even the deliberately short lines are aimed at reducing the amount of movement the 3D requires.

  7. I really like Queen Elizabeth. She reminds me of my nans and those around their generation. I was very close to my nans. So I think that’s why I find her so endearing.

  8. What really surprised me was that the queen’s a better actress than about 99% of the ones we see on tv and film. I’m not even pro monarchy, but that’s got to be embarrassing for any professional actors out there

  9. … CUT! Check the gate …

Andrew: *”where’s my favourite FUCKING teddy bear gone you bastard servants!! You know how I like them arranged!!”*

  10. This reframing of our mighty queen and monarchy to cuddly old nan of the country is insidious. She’s as guilty as the rest of them.

  11. Zelensky is the voice of Paddington in Ukraine. She’s wearing a blue and yellow dress. Paddington thanked her ‘for everything’. It was very clever stuff. Most of us missed it, but I bet people in Ukraine twigged it was a subtle message of support.
