But, fortunately, there are fewer and fewer reasons to make a trip of over 300 kilometers to “devour” this comforting dish. In fact, a new spot for lovers of this “ ” recipe is about to open in the capital: Taberna Londrina’s fifth restaurant in Lisbon.
The arrival at Parque das Nações
Considered by the brand to be one of “Lisbon’s most dynamic and cosmopolitan areas,” Taberna Londrina has decided to open its new restaurant in Parque das Nações. More specifically, at Avenida Dom João II, No. 46. But hold on, as the official opening is scheduled for May 14 (Thursday).
A take on the traditional francesinha
Taberna Londrina is already a national benchmark for francesinhas and , according to a press release sent to Lisboa Secreta, is about to open its 26th restaurant, including various locations across the country and even one in Luxembourg.
The brand was founded in Guimarães, distinguishing itself by offering a unique take on the traditional francesinha. What does this mean? Instead of the “classic” spicy flavor, its sauce is sweeter and milder, thus setting it apart from the typical Porto recipe.
