UK sportswear brand Oner Active is set to open its first-ever store in the United States in New York City.

Krissy Cela, founder of Oner Active, announced on Instagram earlier this week that she had signed a ten-year lease to open a flagship store for the brand on Bond Street.

In the caption she noted that opening Oner Active’s debut permanent brick and mortar store in NYC “felt right,” as it is the brand’s “biggest city,” one known for its non-stop hustle and bustle.

The announcement comes as the brand spent close to a year looking for the right location to open its first store. Work on the first retail location to bring Cela’s vision and concept to life is set to begin in a month’s time.

“The concept for the store has been something I’ve poured a lot of love and consideration into, and having incredible creatives around me to bring my vision to life makes the whole process that much more beautiful,” added Cela.

An expected opening date has yet to be announced, although the store in NYC is likely to be the first of many from the brand to open.

News of Oner Active’s NYC store opening comes nearly a year after the brand hosted its first-ever, two-day showroom pop-up in New York City, which invited fans of the brand to come and experience its products in person. Prior to the pop-up, Oner Active also hosted community events in Los Angeles. Founded in 2020, Oner Active was created to offer supportive, quality sportswear for women.
